Another durable solution is offered in plastic.  A plastic bed liner does very much like rubber mats.  That means shock absorption, scratch allowance and chemical resistance also.  Plus the right plastic bed liners protect fronts and sides of beds as well.  Something simple bed mats can’t do.

The better truck bed liners are definitely not just about rough work.  They are also about appearance too.  However if it is the tough stuff for your truck, several liners do great and some don’t do all that well.  There certainly is no perfect pickup bed liner but a combining of liner models may come very close.
